To ensure the healthy revival of greenery in the residential quarters, Binjiang Property Zhebei Branch organized special training sessions on spring greening maintenance on March 25th and 26th to further enhance responsibility fulfillment and systematically improve the technical skills of the teams, laying a solid foundation for the greening work of the year.

The top priority of the training was to define the persons in charge of various greening tasks by dividing responsibility zones. Given the different properties of plants, the training refined three key revival management points.

Reviving roots by watering, aerating and improving the quality of soil, applying additional fertilizers, and performing moderate mowing.
Trees and shrubs
Cleaning up dead branches and conducting early spring reduction pruning and layered trimming to meet static maintenance standards.
Ground cover plants
Selecting suitable varieties, clarifying replanting and trimming standards, and thinning dense plantings to ensure a continuous green cover on the ground surface.
New Landmarks for Flower Appreciation from Concept to Reality
From variety selection to color coordination and flowerbed design, floral decoration schemes were planned in advance to cater to the festive atmosphere of various holidays, creating signature landmarks for flower appreciation in residential quarters.
Preventive Measures for a Healthy Green Barrier
Given that spring is a peak period for pests, diseases, and weeds, the training emphasized an approach prioritizing preventing and integrating comprehensive control, promoting the use of environmentally friendly pesticides and physical control methods for common issues like aphids and powdery mildew. In addition, it also stressed the importance of dynamic weed monitoring to ensure “zero invasion”.
Professional practice of lawn enhancement
Professional lawn enhancement measures were implemented to boost soil vitality. The property management staff started with precise aeration and used professional aerators for optimal improvement. Later, a thorough cleanup was conducted. Based on soil analysis, tailored enhancement plans were devised and implemented, adding organic matter and water retention materials to sandy soils and coarse sand and humus to clayey soils. Finally, the property management finished up with watering.
